DAILY PAINTING: Today's work was all about mark-making, beginning to build the layers of color, texture, pattern and value that eventually weave together to become a total vision. I'm working with very transparent paint (a mixture of Indian Yellow and Burnt Sienna), thinned with turp. My intention is to begin to create forms and suggestions of space.
