Happy Mother's Day!

The Portrait series has to be put on hold because I've got a commission to paint a landscape--woo-whoo! The canvas dimension are 30" x 24" and this sketch is to scale. I've drawn it in marker on a piece of newsprint, and you can see that I've indicated the darkest shadow areas, as well as some color composition ideas. Stay tuned!
